We’re quick to size up, chase returns, and assume the good run will continue. But we’re slow to de-risk, take chips off the table, or admit conditions have changed. we respect upside far more than downside. And the root of both behaviors is the same, human greed. Most blowups don’t come from bad ideas. They come from staying greedy longer than the market allows.
