According to Techub News, Nervos Network ecosystem protocol Magickbase has released a Force Bridge incident report. Magickbase stated that after investigation, multiple verification nodes executed malicious Docker images, which sent private verification keys to remote endpoints for theft through encrypted payloads. All related evidence, including compromised Docker images, recovery procedures, API calls, modified upgrade scripts, and other supporting materials, were timely preserved and submitted to law enforcement. After narrowing down the suspects, the team officially hired SlowMist to assist in expert analysis and further verify the attacker's identity. Additionally, local law enforcement has formally initiated an investigation.
Techub News previously reported that Magickbase was hacked, with losses of approximately $3.7 million.
