Recently, the Wyoming Stable Token Commission announced that Sei Network has been included in its candidate blockchain list, participating in the technical pilot deployment of WYST (Wyoming Stable Token), the state's first government-issued, fiat-backed stablecoin project.
As the first stablecoin anchored to fiat currency and led by a state government in the United States, the WYST project is managed and promoted by a committee under the Wyoming state government, dedicated to exploring the practical applications of public blockchain in financial infrastructure.

Sei Leads Comprehensive Scoring, Outperforming Multiple Mainstream Public Chains
In the official scoring mechanism, Sei received a comprehensive score of 30 points, ranking higher than several well-known blockchains with larger market capitalizations, including:
● Sui (26 points)
● Avalanche / AVAX (27 points)
● Ethereum (26 points)
● Algorand (21 points)
● Ripple (XRP)
The scoring system covers multiple core dimensions such as system performance, user base, stability, security, and infrastructure construction, comprehensively evaluating the feasibility of public chains in real-world financial scenarios. Sei also outperforms Aptos and Hedera in key technical indicators (such as TPS, transaction fees, and transaction finality).
This selection not only demonstrates Sei's technical strength but also reflects its leading position in real-world applications. Currently, Sei maintains a growth trend in TVL, ecosystem scale, and active users, providing sustainable support for government-level projects.
As a candidate technical foundation for WYST, Sei is expected to provide the state government with high-performance, low-latency stablecoin issuance and circulation capabilities, further verifying the practical value of public blockchain in compliant financial scenarios.
It is reported that WYST will be deployed through the LayerZero cross-chain communication protocol, further enhancing its cross-ecosystem interoperability. The complete candidate list has been publicly released on the Wyoming Stable Token Commission's official website.
