Virtual asset exchange Bithumb announced on the 19th that it will conduct a 'Card Payment Halving' event with Lotte Card, where half of the card payment will be refunded. This event is open to anyone using a Lotte Card.
The event can be applied through the Lotte Card 'Digiro' application until August 31st. Applying is completed by pressing the 'Halving Challenge' button. Participating users can receive a cashback of 50% of the previous month's card usage amount, up to a maximum of 1 million won. This benefit applies equally to both new and existing Bithumb members. However, if not selected, new members will receive a 1,000 won cashback, while existing members will be randomly given 'Ddingcoin' that can be used in the Digiro app.
The card payment refund benefit is provided only once per user. Users who receive the benefit are restricted from participating in other new member promotions during the event period.
Additional benefits are also provided to new Bithumb members. By registering the coupon number provided on the Digiro event page in the 'Event Coupon' menu of the Bithumb app, 30,000 won worth of Bithumb points will be issued. Additionally, by completing the 'Welcome Mission' for new members, they can receive rewards worth up to 20,000 won.
Moon Seon-il, Bithumb's Service Director, said, "This event is designed to allow more customers to naturally experience virtual asset services through useful card benefits in daily life" and "We plan to expand various partnerships that bridge the boundary between life and investment".
