AFP reported, citing local state-run broadcasting, that large explosions were heard in various parts of Tehran. Local media reported that while Israeli strikes appear to have occurred in multiple locations in Tehran, the specific locations have not yet been identified.
Israeli Defense Minister Katz stated that this is a very special situation and issued a school closure order for the entire country of Israel on this Friday.
On the morning of the 13th, with news of the feared war breaking out in the Middle East, Bitcoin instantly dropped about 5%, touching the $103,000 level. Additionally, major altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) fell by about 10%, causing a sharp decline in the cryptocurrency market.
